Riyad Mahrez has broken his silence as the Algeria international has spoken about the big loss of his side Al-Ahli against Al-Fateh in the fifth round the Saudi Professional League.

“It’s football. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. I think we were good in the first half, and we controlled the match.” stated Mahrez through TV Channel.

He continued: “We made some mistakes that happen in football in the second half, and we lost in the end.”

“We apologise to our fans for our first loss, but we will come back stronger, God willing, and we will win the next match.”
