The Saudi King’s Cup round of 16 draw has taken place, this Wednesday, as it has put Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo on a direct challenge with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard.

Al-Nassr, led by the Portugal internationa frontman, will have to go through the tough Dammam-based side Al-Ettifaq, under the management of Gerrard, should they want to witness the quarter finals.

Karim Benzema’s Al-Ittihad will play against Al-Fayha of Fashion Sakala, while Neymar’s Al-Hilal will have to take Al-Hazem down if they want to snatch the qualifying ticket.

For their part, Roberto Firmino and Riyad Mahrez’s Al-Ahli will have a fight with Abha.

14 clubs from the Saudi Professional League have qualified to this stage of competition, next to Al-Faisali and Al-Najma from the Yelo League.
