Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard is reportedly interested in securing the services of England international and Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher in the next transfer window.
According to the latest reports brought by Football Transfers, the English gaffer has personally contacted Gallagher to inquire on whether he would be open to join the Saudi Professional League in the mid-season transfer period.
But the player wants to stay with The Blues and extend his contract, which has led him to flatly turn down the proposal, adds the same source.
Football Transfers concludes that Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino is not happy with the attemps of Gerrard, who has already tried to land Gallagher when he was at the lead of Aston Villa.
