Al-Ahli superstar winger Riyad Mahrez has granted a post-game interview to the Saudi TV program “Action With Waleed“, in which he has spoken about the victory against Al-Riyadh, this Sunday, at the 12th round of the league.
“Today’s match was more intense, and the chances we created resulted in three goals, and our early scoring was important and good for us.” he said.
He added: “Praise be to God, we achieved victory, and this is the most important thing in the Al-Riyadh match today, and we strive to continue providing the best, reaping more victories, and making our fans happy.”
He continued: “He did not say anything, but rather we will be more intense in the match and cooperate more as a group, and it is better for us to score an early goal in the match so that the confrontation will be more comfortable.”
On their title chances, he concluded: “We are good. Our ranking in the league is third, our points are the same as Al-Taawoun’s points, and the league is still long, God willing.”
