Al-Ahli superstar winger Riyad Mahrez have expressed his disappointment after the draw against Damac in the 13th round of the Saudi Professional League, this Thursday, as The Greens have let down a 2-goals advantage in the second half.
“We had a perfect first half. We led by two goals. It was an easy match. We should have scored 3 or 4 goals.” he said in an exclusive interview granted to the TV program “Action With Waleed“.
He added: “We retreated in the second half, and this allowed the opposing team to come back.”
He concluded: “What happened was shameful and frustrating, and it was repeated to us several times. We must avoid such mistakes in the future.”
