Arsenal legend Robert Pires has granted an exclusive interview to the TV program “Fi Al-Marma” broadcasted on Al-Arabiya, in which he has praised the level of the Saudi Professional League.
Pires has sent a special mention to the Portugese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, who has opened the door for other football superstars to follow, joining the local giants Al-Nassr.
“I think when we talk about the Saudi Pro League, it is a strong tournament because it now includes many distinguished players.” he said.
He continued: “Of course, Cristiano Ronaldo comes first, because he is the one who went first, a great player and a great professional who always wants to win everything with his team.”
He added: “I believe that he devotes his whole life to football, and that is why he has accomplished many achievements in his football career.”
