Al-Ahli star defender Roger Ibanez has been suspended for the game of The Greens against Al-Tai, last Saturday, in the 21th round of the Saudi Professional League.
The absence of the Brazil national team center-back was expected to affect the backline of The Royal Team, given his importance in terms of both pure defensive qualities and also leadership.
Al-Ahli have not really conceded several shots in the game, because the opposition was not really making offensive efforts, and also because of the good counter-pressing implemented by Matthias Jaissle.
But Al-Ahli have allowed a Maradona-esque goal scored by Bernard Mensah, that might have been prevented in the presence of Ibanez.
