Al-Ittihad have taken down Al-Okhdoud, this Friday, in the 23th round of the Saudi Professional League, to temporarily climb to the 4th place.
This was a very important triumph to achieve for The Tigers, because in this fixture, the 3rd and 5th ranked clubs Al-Ahli and Al-Taawoun will clash, which means that either way the club will gain points in the fight for the 3rd spot qualifying for the next edition of the Champions League.
Even the 4th place could qualify them for the new version of the second-tier continental tournament, in case one of the top 3 teams wins the Saudi King’s Cup.
