Former Benfica boss and current Al-Ittihad Chief Executive Officer Domingos Soares de Oliveira has clarified to Arab News why he was surprised by the offer from The Tigers.
“At the time I was leaving Benfica, I had different opportunities in terms of new roles in different continents. But when the proposal from Al-Ittihad came, I was really surprised by it because I got a lot of exciting information from the transformation the Kingdom was facing, and all the professional clubs.”
