Former Wolverhampton and current Al-Shabab defender Romain Saiss has revealed to a Moroccan Youtuber why he is enjoying his new life in the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh.
“Frankly, life in Riyadh is really great and top. As you can see, it is light in the morning. It is different to what I was used to in England, rain etc…I also liked England, but life here is different. You wake up, you hear the voice of the adhan for prayers. It is good. It is something new to me to live in the community. The religion is important for me, my family and children. I also have acquaintances here in Riyadh beyond the pitch. There is Yassine Bono, who is just nearby. There are also players who I have co-played with in Europe, who are present here in Riyadh.”
