Atletico Madrid star midfielder Rodrigo De Paul, who is targeted by Al-Ahli, has created controversy with his words about the season of the Spanish capital club in the Laureus Awards.
The Argentine has been attacked with criticism after deeming that the team season was great:
“In general terms I think it has been a great season for Atletico, reaching the semifinals of Copa del Rey, to quarters of Champions, we qualified for the Club World Cup. You haven’t been able to close the rankings for the semifinals. We hope to close with the Champions rankings.“
