Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri looks to be set to leave La Vecchia Signora at the end of the season, amid reported interest from the Saudi Professional League, most notably from Al-Nassr.
The Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio has confirmed that Allegri has already understood that The Bianconeri are intending to replace him at the end of the season.
“Does Allegri have any chance of staying at Juventus? As far as I know, no. But he understood it too. He knows very well that the company is making market assessments without involving him, Calafiori, Di Gregorio, Zirkzee… are not planning the future together. If a club deals with players without talking to the current coach it is because they are obviously talking to another coach, as is their right. Then if there is a way to find a formal solution…. because Allegri still has one year left on his contract and must then be paid if he stays at home or if he finds another team it will be a different economic discussion.” he said (via Tutto Juve).
