Al-Ahli superstar forward Roberto Firmino has struggled in the center-forward position in the first part of the season, which has got him benched while his teammate Gabri Veiga has started to perform better and better behind the striker Feras Al-Buraikan.
After the half-season break, everything has changed, as Veiga has suffered a serious injury, and since ‘Bobby’ has taken his place in the offensive midfield area, he has not looked back since.
With the return of Veiga from injury, the coach Matthias Jaissle would have a puzzle to solve and Firmino has been too good to be left out.
If such deal comes through, it would surely be to keep Firmino in his spot and have Barrios playing next to Franck Kessié in the center of the pitch.
