Al-Nassr assistant manager Vitor Severino has responded to the reports indicating that the club’s superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was the one recommending the arrival of Luis Castro and his staff.
“This is something that intermediaries deal with and I don’t know much about it. But yes, Cristiano is Portuguese and we are also Portuguese, but it is clear that this has nothing to do with nationality. If we come to Saudi Arabia just because someone wants us to come, this is not a good motivation for the training team. To be honest, I don’t know what Cristiano did with that.“
