Villareal defender Aissa Mandi is reported to be seriously considering to join the Saudi Professional League at the end of the season.

This has been confirmed by Afrique Sports, who has precised that the player has a limited game time in La Liga and wants to regain an active role on the field to participate with Algeria in the next international tournaments.

Mandi deems a potential transfer to the Arabian championship as a chance to secure a regular playing time, while continuing to play at a high level, as added by the source.
