Al-Ahli defender Merih Demiral has expressed his desire to remain in the Saudi Professional League, most notably that additional big players are expected to join in in the next few years.
The player is reportedly yet to satisfy the board, who does not mind selling him, despite his clear improvements in this second part of the season.
“My transfer to the Saudi Pro League has progressed quickly. I never expected to come here. They told me about the project, they said how much this place is going to progress. I’m very happy. It’s a new experience. I hope I will stay here for a long time. There is a lot of big players coming in, and I think more will will come, I’m lucky to be among them.” he told TRT Spor.
