Al-Qadsiah are looking to sign a marquee managerial name to replace Real Madrid legend Michel Gonzalez and are discussing with José Mourinho, who has paid a visit to Saudi Arabia in the last two days.

This has been confirmed by Ben Jacobs, who has precised that The Special One has held direct talks with the club officials of the Aramco-owned team Al-Qadsiah, meeting with the company’s most influential figures, while he is assessing his market options, amid interest in Turkey.

Aramco aware Mourinho won’t be out of work for long, and urgency is required if they are to pull anything off. Aramco are understood to be open to utilising Mourinho in either a managerial, strategic or ambassadorial role.” added Jacobs.
