Algeria national team striker Baghdad Bounedjah, who was reportedly wanted by Xavi in FC Barcelona having leading him in Al-Sadd, has now announced that he will join one of two Saudi Professional League clubs he is discussing with.

This week I will reveal my future destination. I will play for one of two teams in approximately the same standings. I expected to stay in the club, but I loved changing the atmosphere and choosing a new league. I thank Al-Sadd for giving me the opportunity to play for the Algerian national team. I have two teams in the Saudi Pro League, and I will decide. It will be a surprise.

One of these teams is Al-Shabab, who have more priorities such as Romelu Lukaku, Alvaro Morata and Alexandre Lacazette, and the other might be Damac, who are the closest to them in the ranking, and who must be searching for a new striker to replace Assan Ceesay, in addition to the fact that they figure several of his compatriots, namely, Mustapha Zeghba, Farouk Chafai and Abdelkader Bedrane.

The player has imposed himself as one of the top goalscorers in the latest AFCON edition.
