Al-Ettifaq and other Saudi Professional League clubs have reportedly shown interest to sign FC Barcelona veteran defender Marcos Alonso, who was said to be on his way to join Atletico Madrid.
The Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has now denied reports sending Alonso to the Spanish capital club, but confirms that the player will leave The Blaugrana at the end of the season.
