Real Madrid legend and current Al-Qadsiah coach Michel Gonzalez has secured promotion to the Saudi Professional League with the Eastern team this season, but his stay has been in doubt, amid discussions between the club and José Mourinho.
Badr Al-Ruzaizae, the president of Al-Qadsiah, has now confirmed the continuation of Michel and his technical staff with the newly-promoted team beyond this campaign.
