Al-Hilal star midfielder Ruben Neves has revealed to CNN Portugal that he was scared about his spot in the Portuguese national team before joining The Blues, was he was reassured that his performances are what matters the most.
“I’ve been called up for a few years, I feel very good, but the national team was one of the aspects that scared me a little bit, but the conversations were very clear. They told me not to worry, that it depended on me, on my level, on the way I was going to present myself. They told me that that was what they were going to look at, not at the club.“
