The football journalist Ahmed Ragab has brought more clarifications about the recent transfer of former FC Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic from Al-Sharjah to Al-Raed.
“Pjanic had the option to renew the contract with Al Sharjah, but the problem is that Al Sharjah will not be able to pay the player’s full wages in the new contract. Barcelona was paying part of Pjanic’s salary during his time in Al Sharjah, so he left.“
