Napoli star winger Khvicha Kvaratkhelia has just dropped a masterclass with Georgia against Portugal national team, this Wednesday, to qualify his country for the first time to the knock-out stage of the Euro.
Whenever Kvaratkhelia was receiving the pass, the Portuguese players, no matter how numerous they were, they knew they were getting in trouble, as he was attacking the space forward with his dribbling qualities and acceleration that make him a threat in both tight and wide spaces.
Even defensively, ‘Kvara’ was often returning to deep areas to help outnumber the opposing attack, and even when he had to make a slide tackle on the ground, he was not thinking twice about it.
His speed has beaten Portuguese defenders and his finish has got past Diogo Costa in the first goal.
He also shown his ability to keep hold of the ball to make his teammates regroup.
