Brighton forward Julio Enciso has played for his Paraguayan national team against Brazil, this Saturday, in the Copa America.
Enciso has started the game as a winger on paper, but he was almost always operating in central zones, to the point that he was at times even returning to dictate the play from the behind the center of the field.
When he was receiving passes, his main job was to try to penetrate the block of Brazil, thing which he has been a hit and miss on, he went though at times and been stopped in others.
The presence of two powerful midfielders like Bruno Guimaraes and Joao Gomes has made him lose physical duels whenever they had the chance to bully him, before he even get to show his high technical abilities.
His shot from the left wing was impressive and has forced Liverpool’s Alisson Becker to make a great effort to deny it.
