Al-Shabab striker Habib Diallo has recently started to get back on the right track with The White Lions, who have been attempting to sell him in the winter transfer window.
The Senegalese goalscorer has clarified in the press conference the role of the African Cup of Nations on his improvement:
“We can say that the AFCON played a little role in it. Before leaving for Ivory Coast, we worked well (during the regrouping). It allowed me to gain on a physical level, compared to what I lacked a little at the start in Saudi Arabia. I think the AFCON allowed me to get back to a top level.“
